The 31st Northern Microcar Rally - Our
Annual Event - CANCELLED |

Following discussions with our venue
hosts it has been decided to cancel the rally as it would not be possible to
comply with Covid regulations that are currently in force.
A long week-end event to be held at:

Directions: Esholt Caravan Park is situated just outside
the village of Esholt, two miles east of Shipley off the A6038, five miles
north of Bradford and eleven miles west of Leeds. From the A6038, turn onto
Station Road (opposite Hollins Hall Hotel) and follow the road round.
Please do not turn onto Esholt Lane from the A6038
– a small bridge makes it difficult for caravans/trailers to navigate.

Toilet, shower and waste disposal facilities included in
the camping fee at the adjacent cricket club.
Electric hook-ups will be available on a first come first served basis using
a card system - pay directly to campsite.

Clubhouse and bar at the adjacent cricket club.
Food available at the famous
Woolpack pub (Emmerdale) a short walk away.

The tradition of holding our Christmas Party in September continues!
This years event will have a 1980's theme - dress
appropriately!

Three course Christmas dinner on Saturday evening in private
function room. £16.50 (2 courses) or £18.50 (3 courses) per head.
Food and bar available throughout the day on Thursday, Friday, Saturday &
Sunday.
Advance booking for the Christmas dinner is
essential as we need to give Drax the exact numbers for dining the night before
the dinner. It is not
possible to turn up on the evening of the event and be admitted for the meal.
Non diners are of course able to eat in the bar area of the Drax Sports Social
Club and join in with the festivities after the Christmas dinner is completed.
Please bring a wrapped Secret Santa gift (up to £5 value) for
inclusion in the raffle.
Costs: £10 per unit per night + £1 insurance charge (+ £3
for non members). Showers, toilets & waste disposal available. A
limited number of electric hook ups are available at £4 per night - please
reserve direct with Bob
EHU. Come earlier
and/or stay later if you wish.
For
members without motorhomes, caravans or tents who wish to stay, the
Premier Inn Goole is located nearby at junction 36 of the M62.
B&B's are also available in Drax village - Dove Cottage comes highly
recommended.
